Telecom Engineeres on federal progects mus have a P.E. Licence and A RCDD

The U.S. Courts Design Guide requires that pathways and spaces be designed by an RCDD. Both the U.S. Defense Department’s Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) -Telecommunications Building Cabling Systems Planning and Design and the Army’s Technical Criteria for the Installation Information Infrastructure Architecture require an RCDD to provide design services.

P.E RCDD

Many government projects are requiring a design professional to be both and RCDD and a PE for their Telecommunication design. An RCDD has the knowledge to design your systems but may not have the professional stamp and insurance needed on government projects. The P.E. provides the engineering expertise/background as well as E&O insurance. Keith Lane is a Professional Engineer licensed in 18 states, an RCDD as well as a network transport system specialist (NTS) and a Telecommunication Project Manager (TPM). Lane Coburn & Associates, LLC (LCA) has a significant amount of experience with government projects around the country where we performed the duties of both the electrical engineer and RCDD. We are also a registered small business with the Federal Government. Please contact Keith Lane if you are interested in teaming with Lane Coburn & Associates.

The LEED AP (Accredited Professional) credential signifies an advanced depth of knowledge in green building practices; it also reflects the ability to specialize in a particular LEED Rating System. The LEED AP exam is divided into two parts. The first part is the LEED Green Associate exam, which demonstrates general knowledge of green building practices. The second part is a specialty exam based on one of the LEED Reference Guides
